What is the Summer of Service?
The Summer of Service from the IREM Foundation celebrates the daily impact property managers have in their communities by bringing together participants in service to help communities thrive. All funds raised through registration fees and donations during the Summer of Service will support equity, inclusion, and diversity initiatives in the real estate management profession.
Get involved
There are many ways you can get involved with the Summer of Service. Host a project – virtually or in your local community – and get your peers involved, or search and join a project that’s already happening. Don’t have the time to volunteer? Become a fundraising captain and rally your community to support a more inclusive profession. 100% of the registration fees support equity, inclusion, and diversity (EID) initiatives.
Host a project - $100
Host a service project, recruit volunteers, and raise funds. You’ll get your own project page, along with a toolkit that includes event emails, social posts, and tools to pull together your event. You’ll also get visibility through IREM communications and social network shares.
Join a project - $25
Find local and virtual community service projects hosted by your IREM chapter, place of employment, or your peers. Sign up to participate in a project and you’ll have the ability to further elevate the cause by sharing your participation and raising additional funds through your personal network.
Fundraise
Support a more inclusive profession and raise awareness of the value real estate managers bring to their communities by raising funds from friends, family, and coworkers. All funds raised support equity, inclusion, and diversity through IREM & IREM Foundation programs.
